Keri & Dave

Where do I even begin!? I had the pleasure of capturing the wedding of my good friend Dave & his wonderful wife Keri. A lot of people ask me how I feel about photographing a friend's wedding. Would I rather be a guest? I bet there's less pressure? Nope and nope. I LOVE capturing weddings of people I know! Mainly because I KNOW I'll do my absolute best for them. They also know me very well and trust that whatever I ask them to do, I'm doing it FOR THEM.  There is a lot of pressure because you not only want to do your job, you want to do extremely well, to ensure your friends have incredible images to treasure for life!

They got married at the beautiful setting of The Ashes Barn, in Stoke-on-Trent. My first time working at this venue and certainly not the last! There were plenty of locations to get kick-ass photos, with great lighting, a rustic feel to the building, and really friendly and helpful staff.

It rained for about 70% of the day but was that enough to stop the couple enjoying themselves and smiling through-out the entire day? Absolutely not. They absolutely BOSSED it and I couldn't be happier with the results. Their personalities shine through the images and it's clear for all to see the love they share together.  Here's a few of my favourites...

For the 6000th time I just want to say THANK YOU for allowing me to capture your day. I hope you treasure these memories forever, because I certainly will.

Much love, your photographer and friend, Brett.
