MY FIRST EVER ELOPEMENT!
I know what you're all thinking. "Brett how can you do so many weddings and not shoot an elopement?!" I honestly wish I could answer this because I absolutely adored every second working with Nicole & Danny on their very intimate wedding day.
Nicole discovered me by searching "dark and moody" photography into Google! I couldn't believe it when I heard this but I am SOOO glad she did. Straight from the off I knew we'd have a ball. Her and her partner Danny were just super chilled and matched my energy completely.
The day finally arrived and after a long, scenic driver I was greeted by the beautiful venue: The Briery Wood Hotel, Windemere. Along with some amazing highland cows, and our bride, taking her adorable and friendly dog for a walk. We hit it off right away and we were ready to tackle the day ahead.
The weather would normally dictate whether the ceremony is outdoors or not but hey, not for our bride! She was ADAMENT that they were getting wed outside and what a great decision that turned out to be! After a beautiful ceremony and some welcome drinks, we headed down to the Lakes to capture some truly breath-taking moments which I am over the moon to share with you all!
Thank you for allowing me to capture your day. It was truly beautiful and I'm glad I could be a part of it. I hope to see you both again some day and I hope you continue to live full and happy lives together. You both truly deserve it.
