Ah, where do I even start?! I was SO glad this wonderful pair chose me to capture their big day. Right from the off I could tell we were going to get on like a house on fire. Shannon knew her way around the wedding season and Adam was just one of the most chill guys you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. When I found out they were getting married at one of my favourite venues, The Ashes Barns, that was just the icing on the cake. YES I'm free and YES I would LOVE to capture your big day!
We met up before the wedding along with the videography team at Timeless Exposure Films to discuss the plans for the day. What they wanted, what they didn't want, and what they didn't know they wanted! The main thing I was absolutely sure of from the meeting was that we were in for an incredible day and my goodness, it didn't disappoint!
The day of the wedding arrived. It was bitter cold but it wasn't raining! The Bride and Groom were both super chill in the morning, as expected... Until it was GO time and we can see a few cracks appearing in their laid back approach. It was clear for all to see how much these moments meant to them both and it was such am honour to be a part of it.
The day went without incident. All the careful planning and preparation paid off. The team at the venue were unreal. The family and friends were a delight. The flowers, the cake, the hair, the make-up, the magician, the phot booth, the violinist, the DJ, the dog chaperone... Anything you could possibly think of incorporating into a wedding day was there. Hand-picked, carefully considered, highly recommended, and it absolute showed. All the ingredients for the perfect day.
After the wedding I was SO excited to deliver their preview gallery. I knew from that moment that I'd absolutely nailed it. This was confirmed when the couple saw the images and got super emotional. They took great pleasure in telling me how grateful they were which helped remind me that I do, in-fact, have one of the greatest jobs on the planet!

I've blabbed on for FAR too long now so I'd just like to say a massive "THANK YOU!" to you both. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better couple to work with. You have been incredible from the off and throughout. If every couple was like you, I'd do 365 weddings a year absolutely no problem! I wish you all the luck in the world for your bright future together and I hope you treasure these memories forever. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your big day. I'll never forget it!
