Ah, where do I even start?! There was very little communication between me and Issie before the wedding and zero communication with Jack! But after what? 5 minutes of working with them? I knew we were in for a treat. I had full confidence that they trusted me to do my thing and they absolutely understood and smashed the assignment. We can never fully explain how grateful we are to have willing couples. It makes our job SOOO much easier which ultimately leads to much better images!
Morning preparation went super smooth because Issie chose a cool hairdresser, a great make-up artist, and an even better bridal party! I had to remind them how amazing they look as they allllllll hated photos but they were instantly put at ease when I showed them the results.
It was my first time shooting at Christ Church in Burntwood but I was pleasantly surprised how bright and airy it was for a church which obviously led to some fantastic opportunities for photos! The ceremony was beautiful. Emotional for all involved and a pleasure to be a part of. After the ceremony EVERYONE was super excited to congratulate the newlyweds! So we went from candids, the confetti (Including Jack posing like an seasoned aftershave model), to group shots, and couple shots with Issies legend of a father being the ultimate assistant.
Onto The Nags Head in Burntwood for some speeches, some dancing, some cake cutting, and some SERIOUS shape throwing! The weather stayed in our favour all day and boy did we make the most of it! Check out some of the moments from the day...
I've blabbed on for FAR too long now so I'd just like to say "thank you!" to you both. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better couple to work with. I wish you all the luck in the world for your bright future together and I hope you treasure these memories forever. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your big day. I'll never forget it!
Much love, your photographer and friend, Brett.
